Corzine May Govern by Video

CAMDEN, N.J. — Aides to injured Governor Corzine said yesterday they hope he will be able to run the state as he recovers, even if it means governing by video.
Mr. Corzine was upgraded from critical condition yesterday and was moved out of intensive care, doctors said. The head of trauma at Cooper University Hospital, Dr. Steven Ross, said Mr. Corzine would be in the hospital for at least another week.
Mr. Corzine's chief of staff, Tom Shea, said Mr. Corzine probably would not resume his duties as long as he is in the hospital.
President of the Senate, Richard Codey, is the acting governor.
