Counselor Charged With Selling Marijuana
A counselor at a juvenile detention center was charged with selling marijuana to a teenage resident, the commissioner of the city's Department of Investigation, Rose Gill Hearn, said in a press release.
The counselor, Dino Bodden, 32, of Manhattan, was charged with several misdemeanor violations and has been suspended. The alleged sale occurred at the Crossroads Juvenile Center, a 124-bed facility in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.
Mr. Bodden has been a juvenile counselor for the city's Department of Juvenile Justice for three years and makes $37,180 annually.
