Crack User Strikes Police Officer

A police officer was struck by a man who was high on crack yesterday in Brooklyn, police officials said.

The injured officer and his partner approached two suspects who were smoking crack in a parked car on Fulton Street in the East New York section of Brooklyn.

One of the suspects then started the car and hit one of the officers, knocking him to the ground, police said.
