A former city buildings inspector, Dean Massari, will serve six months in a federal prison and pay fines for his part in a three-year bribery scheme, the Brooklyn District Court ruled yesterday.

Between 2000 and 2003, Massari was paid thousands of dollars to overlook city construction regulations in a dozen Brooklyn sewer sites, according to a Department of Investigation statement.
