Seven state lawmakers and eight city council members yesterday endorsed Mayor Bloomberg's 2030 plan and voiced support for his proposed traffic tax at a press conference on the steps of City Hall. "It's like Robert Moses meets Al Gore," a state senator of Manhattan, Eric Schneiderman, said of the green plan that aims to reduce traffic and make New York City healthier. Four state lawmakers representing Manhattan, the borough that is expected to benefit most from congestion pricing, voiced support for the traffic tax plan yesterday. They included two of the four state senators of Manhattan, Liz Krueger and Mr. Schneiderman, and two of the borough's 11 assemblymen, Richard Gottfried and Adriano Espaillat.
