A man shot himself in the neck yesterday on a boardwalk in Brooklyn, police officials said.

The man, who was not identified by police, turned a gun on himself at about 4:15 p.m. on the boardwalk in front of East 26th Street in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, police said.
