NYU Murder Suspect To Be Arraigned at Hospital

The suspect in the killing of the daughter of two New York University professors will be arraigned on second-degree murder charges today at a Manhattan hospital, authorities said.

Michael Cordero, who allegedly killed Boitumelo McCallum inside her mother's Greenwich Village apartment, will be arraigned from a hospital bed at Bellevue Hospital where he remains after trying to commit suicide on Tuesday, authorities said.

The arraignment will be held via a video link from the hospital, authorities said.
