Police Arrest Man In West Village Attacks

Police arrested a man yesterday for a series of sexual assaults on young women in the West Village, police officials said.
The suspect, Asunscion DeJesus-Garcia, was arrested after the boyfriend of one of the victims recognized him on the street in the West Village, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said. The boyfriend had first seen Mr. DeJesus-Garcia moments after the attack, he said.
