Police Investigate Carroll Gardens Homicide

Police are investigating a homicide in the Carroll Gardens section of Brooklyn after a victim was found lying in a pool of blood inside his basement apartment, police officials said.

The body of the victim, a male who had not been identified, was discovered at about 11 a.m. yesterday by the landlord of the building at 326 Carroll St., police said.

The city's Office of Chief Medical Examiner will determine how the victim was killed, police said.
