‘Lunacy'

It was evident long ago that Mayor Bloomberg was a rock-solid liberal [Editorial & Opinion, "Lunacy," October2,2007].

Alicia Colon has enumerated the list of his intrusive, none of-his-business, busybody attempts to control our lives. He is a big-government, high-tax man, with socialist leanings.

Now he has announced a 20% increase in water rates for New York City. His explanation was that many people don't pay their bills, so others will have to cover the expense.

Rather than collect the funds from those who owe them, others will pay the costs. This is socialist wackiness.
