Yankees Lose In Toronto

TORONTO — Vernon Wells had four RBIs, Roy Halladay struck out eight over seven innings and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Yankees 15–4 yesterday. Frank Thomas added three RBIs for the Blue Jays, who have won nine of their past 11 home games. Wells finished 3-for-4 and scored twice as Toronto matched a franchise high with nine doubles. Alex Rodriguez sat out because of a bruised calf.
