AIRFARES

Studio execs take note: Starting May 24, JetBlue will fly three times daily from JFK to Burbank - more manageable than LAX, more convenient than Long Beach. Fares start at $134 one way with seven day advance purchase.

CHILDREN'S TRAVEL

It may be that your children are tired of weekends at grandma's - so why not take them to the French Riviera instead? The Hotel Martinez in Cannes is offering a complimentary adjoining bedroom to up to two children under 12 traveling with their parents. When they tire of luxuriating in their tony digs, the children might enjoy a splash in the pool or downtime at "Z Plage," the hotel's own beach club on the Mediterranean. Parents pay $245 for a superior room, and receive upgrades according to availability. The promotion is available through April 30.

MALTA

Long Island-based Amelia Tours is offering a package deal to Malta. For $975 a person, double occupancy, travelers get round-trip air on Virgin Atlantic and Air Malta from JFK to Malta, six nights of four-star accommodation on the charming Sliema waterfront, 15 minutes from Valletta, the capital, plus daily breakfast and airport transfers. Malta is a tiny island teeming with history, from Stone Age ruins to Crusader intrigue, not to mention fine diving and delicious bread. Consider a three-night extension to the even tinier island of Gozo, home of the Ggantija Temples, a Neolithic site that's purportedly the world's oldest monument, and myriad sea grottoes, the backdrop for many films. The base price is valid for tours through April 30.

PLAZA HOTEL

If you've ever stayed at New York's Plaza Hotel and feel like refreshing your memory before it's too late, why not get a rebate for it, too? Just turn in a personal story, picture, or bill from a past stay upon check-in and receive a $100 credit on a single stay of two or more nights. This "One More Time" treat is meant to make your last time a little less sad. The hotel will close its doors for good on April 30, just two years shy of its 100th birthday.

PARIS

Smaller hotels are where it's at these days. If you want to impress your friends, regale them with tales of how you snagged a room at the hottest little hostelry in Paris. The Hotel du Petit Moulin in the hip Upper Marais has just 17 rooms - but they were all designed by Christian Lacroix. It has only been open for three months and an introductory rate of $239 a night is still available.
