SMALL WONDER Child actors from Broadway shows gather for “The Broadway Kids Sing Broadway,” a musical revue of holiday songs and Broadway tunes. The singers, who range in age from 7 to 14, have appeared in shows such as “A Christmas Carol,” “Caroline, or Change,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Hairspray,” “The Lion King,” and “Nine.” Christopher Scott directs, and Michael Roberts provides musical direction. RATIONALIST ROCK Composer Dave Soldier’s new ensemble, the Spinozas, combines Middle Eastern rhythms and contemporary Andalusian flamenco music with rock and electronica. HANDEL AND RUTTER London composer John Rutter conducts a concert of Handel’s “Messiah” and his own “Mass of the Children.” Performers include soprano Serena Benedetti, mezzo-soprano Jennifer Roderer, tenor William Ferguson, and bass-baritone Jeremy Galyon. BACH AT BARTHOLOMEW’S Flutist Eugenia Zukerman and harpsichordist Anthony Newman, who perform together annually at the New York Public Library, make their debut at St. Bartholomew’s Church.
