FIREFIGHTER’S LEGACY The third annual Tunnel to Towers run celebrates the life of firefighter Stephen Siller and the 343 firefighters who died on September 11, 2001. Firehouses all over the country send firefighters to the 5K race, which retraces the steps that Siller took toward the World Trade Center from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel that morning. Sunday, 10 a.m. start time, check in at 142 Henry St. at 2nd Place, Red Hook, Brooklyn, 718-987-1931, $40.
