CABINETS OF CURIOSITIES
An artist-in-residence at the American Museum of Natural History, Justine Cooper,gives a slide lecture about her work. Ms. Cooper is using a vintage large-format camera to photograph the stored collections and hidden spaces of each department. Curator Rob DeSalle joins her to talk about the museum’s frozen tissue collection and the “21st-century approach to collecting.” Tonight, 7 p.m., American Museum of Natural History, 79th Street and Central Park West, 212-769-5200, $15 general, $13.50 seniors, members, and students.
