A Film Shot Mostly in Black and White, ‘The Women’ This Weekend Is Part of the Paris Theater’s ‘Wonders of Technicolor’ Series

No matter that the director wanted to cut out the six-minute technicolor exception wedged into the movie: The narrative-be-damned intrusion can’t help but be viewed as splendid kitsch, part of a remarkable film.
