A greeting card sent in 1937 by Anne Frank, the Jewish girl who kept a diary while hiding from the Nazis in an Amsterdam attic, was found in a Dutch antiques store.

Anne Frank sent the greeting card to her friend Sanne Ledermann while visiting her grandmother in Germany, the Anne Frank Foundation wrote yesterday in a statement on its Web site. The card features a Christmas bell covered with four-leaf clovers and a New Year’s greeting in German. Anne signed her name on the back.

A teacher found the card in his parents’ shop in Naarden, a town about 15 miles east of Amsterdam, when searching for material he could use in a lesson about Anne Frank, the foundation said.
