The Evil Dead (Two Boots Pioneer) Remember in “Spiderman 2” when Doc Ock flips out in the hospital room, and the movie goes bonkers with robo-tentacle POV shots? With a wink in his eye (and a pocket full of cash), director Sam Raimi was paying homage to his own pulpy, madcap roots, specifically this eternally satisfying monster-mash from the early 1980’s.
