The boss’s birthday nears and you want to best your rivals and give him or her a fun gift. Zaha Hadid has just the thing — a $344,000 slide.

The Pritzker Prize-winning architect’s limited-edition, chromium-coated, high-density polystyrene toy for millionaire boys will be part of an exhibition that explores the theme of play.

Ms. Hadid is heading for the English countryside to put the slide on show. The grounds of Sudeley Castle in the Cotswolds will become an “Artists’ Playground,” an e-mail sent by Sudeley and the exhibition’s co-organizers, the auction house Phillips de Pury, said.

The playground was conceived by the former director of the Gagosian Gallery, Mollie Dent-Brocklehurst (whose family owns Sudeley), and the curator of the Hiscox Collection, Elliot McDonald.

Those wanting to get in contact with their inner child will be able to squeal down the 30-foot-long Hadid slide, take a spin in a Carsten Höller flying machine, climb into a Henry Krokatsis tree house, or get lost in a Jeppe Hein mirrored labyrinth.

An American dealer, Kenny Schachter, who, like Ms. Hadid, is also based in London, has commissioned a group of design-art objects for the show. Tom Dixon, Arik Levy, and Richard Woods are the other designers joining in the fun.

Last month, Mr. Schachter broke the dealers’ traditional code of silence by writing in Artnet magazine that he sold “absolutely nothing” on his stand at the Art Cologne fair April 16-20.
