TUESDAY

• Alcoa Inc. is scheduled to report its third-quarter earnings.

• The 92nd Street Y hosts a conversation between Robert Reich and R. Thomas Herman on “the New ‘Super’ Capitalism” at 8 p.m. The cost is $26.

• The Barnes & Noble on Broadway at 82nd Street hosts a reading and book signing with John Bowe, author of “Nobodies: Modern American Slave Labor and the Dark Side of the New Global Economy,” beginning at 7 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

• The World Business Forum, a two-day event hosted by the Buxton Co., begins at Radio City Music Hall at 9 a.m. with a lecture by Alan Greenspan on the global economy. Carl Icahn will speak Thursday at 2:45 p.m. Visit wbfny.comfor a list of additional speakers.

• A representative of Tiffany’s will ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange in honor of its new location at 37 Wall St. The founding ceremony begins at 11 a.m. Free blue-andwhite cookies and coffee will be available, and street musicians will play “Moon River” in the area.

THURSDAY
