SPAIN SCENE A two-part exhibit closing this weekend explores the work of artists from Castilla y Leon in central Spain. The section “Posthumous Choreographies” at White Box Gallery incorporates performance art and dance, while “Other Optical Labyrinths,” at the affiliated Annex gallery, focuses on digital and electronic art. ROUGH DRAFTS The National Academy’s 180th annual exhibit, “Disegno,” focuses on maquettes, sketches, and other works made by artists to prepare to make a final product. ON THE ROAD School’s out, but school buses still rule the road in paintings by Barbara Friedman, who places them on long roads in rural settings. Other familiar images she paints are lawn chairs and windshield wipers.
