TRUTH ETC. Artist Jenny Holzer signs copies of her book “Truth Before Power” (Kunsthaus Bregenz), a catalog documenting a recent installation that incorporated light projections and the text of formerly classified government documents.The event takes place at a temporary bookstore run by Distributed Art Publishers, which will be open through the end of September at Visionaire Gallery. Upcoming artists who will sign catalogs there include Vanessa Beecroft (July 14) and Alex Katz (August 9). THE PAINT IN SPAIN The Queen Sofia Spanish Institute celebrates the centennial of the Hispanic Society of America with the exhibit “From Goya to Sorolla.”The show features 75 Spanish art works, mostly paintings, from the 19th and 20th centuries. A highlight is a collection of 11 drawings by Francisco Goya.
