AMERICAN BEAUTY Jeffrey Reed’s delicate landscape paintings are on display in Chelsea. “There is nothing more exciting than a changing sky,” Mr. Reed has said. Clockwise from top left, “Lancaster/White House,” “Red Field,” “Samuel’s Hill,” and “Octoraro/Morning,” all 2005. The gallery is also displaying Michael David’s monochrome still life paintings.
