VIEWS OF ITALY “Irresistible Italy,” a series of “architectural photo-assemblages” by Leon Yost, is on display in Chelsea. Each work features several hand-printed color photographs of a particular place – its interior, exterior, and decorative details. Mr. Yost captures cathedrals, palaces, and crypts in cities from Palermo to Venice to Florence. FIFTY YEARS OF PAINTING “Robert S. Neuman: Fifty Years” is on display at the Allan Stone Gallery. The show features Mr. Neuman’s abstract paintings from his early “Black Paintings,” to a series of whimsical works illustrating man’s journey to paradise, to the recent “Lame Deer” series reflecting the Native American experience.
