THE HUNGER FOR MORE The Chelsea Art Museum presents “The Food Show: The Hungry Eye,” a group exhibit of works that ventures beyond the representation of food as still life to explore with irony and humor the human preoccupation with food. Featured artists include Jonathan Seliger, Priscilla Monge, Will Cotton, and Janet Fish. Robert Edelman and Gina Fiore are curators of the show. Selections include Ted Mineo’s “Muffuletta” (2005). Through Saturday, February 24, Tuesday–Saturday, noon–6 p.m., Thursdays, noon–8 p.m., Chelsea Art Museum, 556 W. 22nd St. at Eleventh Avenue, 212-255-0719, free.
