PICNIC The Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s young supporters (ages 25-50) enjoy the garden’s annual fund-raising event “Passport to Summer. “Twilight cocktails and a picnic at sunset lead up to a night of dancing under the stars. LANDMARK CEMETERY The New York City Marble Cemetery opens its cast-iron doors for a fund-raising event featuring a performance by the New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus. The cemetery, founded in 1831, houses the remains of New Yorkers such as James Lenox, whose library, together with the Astor and Tilden collections, formed the New York Public Library, and John Lloyd Stephens, an archaeologist whose vault is marked by a Mayan glyph. The cemetery was designated a New York City landmark in 1969. Tomorrow, 7 p.m., 52-74 E. 2nd St., between First and Second avenues, 212-228-6401, $12 general, $10 students and seniors.
