DISGUISED GOURMAND The editor in chief of Gourmet magazine, Ruth Reichl,reads from her new memoir “Garlic and Sapphires” (Penguin).The book is about her time as a food critic, including the elab orate disguises that helped her dine incognito. GLORY DAYS An editor at McSweeney’s, Sean Wilsey, reads from his new memoir “Oh the Glory of It All” (Penguin). Mr. Wilsey’s parents were fixtures in San Francisco society. After their divorce, his father remarried and his mother began taking trips around the globe, introducing a rotating cast of multiracial children to various heads of state as part of a nebulous plan to foster world peace.
