CELEBRATING 30 YEARS Battery Dance Company starts its 30th anniversary season with performances directed and choreographed by Jonathan Hollander. The program also includes a short work by 24 dancers ages 15 and 16 from the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Queens. Today, 1 p.m., tomorrow, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.,Tribeca Performing Arts Center/BMCC, 199 Chambers St. at the West Side Highway, 212-220-1460, $20 general, $10 students and seniors.
THREE BY WHEELDON Three ballets set to the music of Gyorgy Ligeti by choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, “Polyphonia,” “Morphoses,” and “Continuum,” are performed in one evening for the first time. The program is performed by dancers from New York City Ballet and San Francisco Ballet. Tonight, Friday, and Saturday, 8 p.m., Columbia University, Miller Theatre, 2960 Broadway at 116th Street, 212-854-1633, $35 general, $21 students.
