BEFORE AND AFTER Dharma Road and the Center for Remembering & Sharing present “Avant/Apres le Deluge,” an evening of 18th-century baroque dance with a modern twist. Choreographers include Patricia Beaman and Rachel List, and the curator is Sarah Edgar. Friday through Sunday, 8 p.m., CRS Studio Theater, 123 Fourth Ave., between 12th and 13th streets, second floor, 212-677-8621, $12.


DRUMMING AND TAPPING Producer Toshi Hirano presents the New York premiere of “Otodama,” a percussion show that combines traditional Japanese taiko drumming and American funk tap dancing. The cast is led by the show’s creator, Yako Miyamoto, who also stars in “Stomp.” Friday through Sunday, December 11, Monday-Friday, 8 p.m., Saturday, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., Sunday, 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., CSV Cultural Center, Flamboyan Theater, 107 Suffolk St., between Rivington and Delancey streets, 212-352-3101, $25 in advance, $30 at the door.
