NEW PARADIGM The modern dance ensemble Paradigm performs a mix of new and classic pieces, with music ranging from Maria Callas to the alternative swing band Squirrel Nut Zippers. Two premieres, by Gus Solomons Jr. and Carmen de Lavallade,are featured. IMMIGRANT WEEK The Folk Feet Dancers of the Brooklyn Arts Council celebrate Immigrant History Week with a presentation of diverse cultural dances. Performances include a sherpa dance of Nepal, a traditional Egyptian stick dance, and a first look at the urban dance mime lockism, influenced by hiphop.
