MOONWALKER The play “Walk on Two Moons,” based on the award-winning book by Sharon Creech, follows a girl on a road trip with her eccentric grandparents, as she and her best friend tell stories about life back at home. The play is a production of Theatreworks/NYC, which provides theater tickets to children who cannot afford them; paid tickets benefit the organization’s outreach programs. It is directed by Melissa Kievman, with music by Lucas Papaelias. DRAGON TALES The Ford Family Programs at the Museum of Modern Art series a reading by David Wiesner, who will read his new children’s book “The Loathsome Dragon” (Clarion), a retelling of an English fairy tale.
