TYING THE KNOT The Brooklyn Children’s Museum celebrates Friendship Day. Children design their own friendship bracelets to swap with their best friends. MAGIC SPELLS AND DRAGONS Kids Creative presents a new musical, “Dragon City and the Legend of the Stone,” written and performed by children ages 5 to 11, from the Rock ‘N’ Roll Theatre summer camp. FOR THE BIRDS The New York Companion Bird Club of Manhattan presents “Companion Parrot 101,” offering information about the decision to bring a parrot as a pet into a home, proper care, and adoption advice. Children can meet the club’s parrots and ask questions of the members of the Long Island Parrot Society, the area’s largest exotic bird club. Saturday, 1-4 p.m., New York Theosophical Society, 242 E. 53rd St., between Second and Third avenues, $5 general, $3 members.
