GREEN CENTENNIAL A festival with children’s entertainment, gardening workshops, a plant sale, and other family activities celebrates the 100th birthday of the Queens Greenhouse. The greenhouse grows 200,000 flowers each year. Saturday, noon-3 p.m., Queens Greenhouse, Forest Park Drive off Woodhaven Boulevard, Forest Park, Queens, call 311 for information, free.
KNIGHTS AND MAIDENS The Medieval Festival arrives at Fort Tryon Park with authentic music, dance, magic, minstrels, jugglers and jesters. In the afternoon, four knights joust on horseback. Sunday, noon-6 p.m., the Cloisters, Fort Tryon Park, Margaret Corbin Circle and Fort Washington Avenue, 212-795-1600, free.
