THANKSGIVING IN BROOKLYN Families snack on popcorn and cider during a screening of the holiday cartoon classic “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.” After the movie, children can go around the table and talk about what they’re thankful for. Today, 5:30-7 p.m., Willy Bee’s Family Lounge, 302 Metropolitan Ave., between Driggs Avenue and Roebling Street, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, 718-599-3499, free.


BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY At the “Luxurious Lamps” programs, families can explore the collection of Tiffany lamps and windows at the New-York Historical Society.Then they create their own stained glass in a workshop. Friday, noon-4 p.m., New-York Historical Society, 170 Central Park West at 77th Street, 212-873-3400 ext. 264, free with museum admission, $10 general, $5 seniors and students.
