SWISS BLISS Swiss National Day celebrates the country’s 714th birthday with alpine wrestling demonstrations, music from the International Alphorn Society quartet, and a yodeling contest. Saturday, noon-10 p.m., Pier 54, at West 13th Street and the West Side Highway, 212-757-5944 ext. 1, $5 general. Swiss National Day After Party continues after 10 p.m., Railroad Barge, Pier 63 at West 23rd Street and the West Side Highway, free.
HARLEM FESTIVITIES Harlem Week, which began in 1975 as Harlem Day, is now a month long series of activities. It all kicks off with a cultural festival, fashion show, and evening concert. This year’s “Concert Under the Stars” pays tribute to the late Luther Vandross. Sunday, 1-4:30 p.m. festival, 4:30-5:30 p.m. fashion show, 6-9 p.m. concert, Ulysses S.
