SIBERIAN SCREENS
BAMcinematek’s series of recent Finnish films screens “Mothers of Life” (2002), a two-part documentary about family living in the tundra of Eastern Siberia. Directors Anastasia Lapsui and Markku Lehmuskallio capture igloo homes, reindeer herds, and a rapidly changing nomadic lifestyle. Today, 4:30 p.m., 6:50 p.m., 9:15 p.m., BAM Rose Cinemas, 30 Lafayette Ave., between Ashland Place and St. Felix Street, Brooklyn, 718-636-4100, $10 general, $7 seniors, students, and children under 12, $6 members.
