REINDEER GAMES Hamid Sardar’s “The Reindeer People” is a portrait of a family of Dukha reindeer nomads as they follow a migration route through the forests of northern Mongolia. CROSSING THE BORDER The Film Society of Lincoln Center and Independent Feature Projects present “Romantico,” a documentary that had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. Carmelo Muniz plays mariachi music in San Francisco but travels back home to Mexico after his mother becomes ill. Director Mark Becker hosts a question-and-answer session after the screening. PRIVATE EYE The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy shows “Chinatown” (1974) as part of its Movies With a View series. The film stars Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway in a neo-noir detective story set in Los Angeles. Roman Polanski directs.
