TALKING TURKEY The Moon and Stars Project, a New York-based Turkish nonprofit organization, presents the seventh annual New York Turkish Film Festival, which offers 26 feature films, shorts, and documentaries. WILDER, ‘HOT,’ AND ’17’ The Museum of the Moving Image presents “Some Like it Wilder: The Complete Billy Wilder,” a complete retrospective of the director’s works. This weekend’s highlights include “Some Like It Hot” (Saturday and Sunday, 4:30 p.m.) and “Stalag 17” (Sunday, 2 p.m.). JULY IN SEPTEMBER Miranda July’s film “Me and You and Everyone We Know” is screened this weekend. The film follows the struggles of a lonely performance artist and a shoe salesman. CLOSING CREDITS Over the last nine days, the Manhattan Short Film Festival has covered 50 venues across 28 states. It makes its grand finale this weekend in Union Square, where the winner is announced. The 10 finalists include films from Ireland, Australia, Spain, Wales, and Israel.
