INDEPENDENT WOMAN BAM cinematek honors the actress Gena Rowlands with a screening series, An Independent Spirit. Ms. Rowlands participates in a question-and-answer session following the first screening, of “A Woman Under the Influence” (Thursday, 7:30 p.m.), and following a screening of “Opening Night” (Saturday, 6 p.m.).
