MORMON MOVIES The centerpiece of the Mormonsploitation Retrospective is “Trapped by the Mormons,” a campy new remake of the 1922 cult horror flick of the same name (through Wednesday, 9 p.m.). The series also includes “Wagon Master,” a Mormon Western, and Jared Hess’s “Peluca,” a short precursor to “Napoleon Dynamite.” Series: Through Wednesday, Two Boots Pioneer Theater, 155 E. 3rd St. at Avenue A, 212-591-0434, $52 for all eight movies, $9 individual screenings, $6.50 members.
CHANGING SCENES A series of films about “radical identity adjustment” includes screenings of “The Gift,” about a group of gay men who try to become HIV positive; “American Eunuchs: Designed Identities,” about men who voluntarily choose castration, and “Whole,” about individuals who try to get rid of a limb. The evening ends with a panel discussion, featuring moderator Claus Mueller; a psychologist at Pace University, Herbert Krauss; performance artist Genesis P. Orridge, and others.
