INDEPENDENT BROOKLYN Every first Monday of the month,Traveling Cinema presents the Brooklyn Independent Cinema series, curated by Joe Pacheco. Tonight’s program includes “Stranger: Bernie Worrell on Earth” (2005), Philip Di Fiore’s documentary about the eccentric musical mastermind, and Clay Walker’s “The Cole Nobody Knows” (2005), a documentary about Nat King Cole’s talented, lesser-known younger brother. Afterward, the films’ directors participate in a question-and-answer session. The program also includes several short films. CHILLING THRILLER As part of the Monster Monday series, British actor Malcolm McDowell attends a screening of the psychological thriller “Evilenko” (2004). Writer-director David Grieco and composer Angelo Badalamenti joins Mr. McDowell to introduce the film and to participate in a discussion following the screening.
