GOOD OLD WEST “Give Thanks to John Ford,” a series presented by BAMcinématek, features four classic films about the Old West. The series begins with a screening of “The Searchers” (1956), about a Confederate soldier who spends five years searching for his niece, who was kidnapped by Native Americans. The film features John Wayne. Author Jonathan Lethem introduces the 6:50 p.m. screening.
