SLOW APPLES Slow Food NYC presents the third annual Apple Week, with the goal of drawing attention to regional apple varieties like the Newtown Pippin, which is in danger of disappearing. Nine restaurants and one bar are offering apple-inspired menus throughout the week, and three greenmarkets are having Kids Apple Festivals on Saturday.
