GOOD VIBES


Vibraphonist Mark Sherman and his quintet perform as part of the series “Jazz Tuesdays.” Mr. Sherman has played with the New York Philharmonic, the Joffrey Ballet, and with smooth voiced singers Peggy Lee and Mel Torme. PENNY PLAYERS


Brooklyn College produces Brecht and Weill’s “The Threepenny Opera,” with actors, singers, and musicians from the school’s music and theater programs. STARRY JAZZ


Jazz lovers can enjoy live music, tapas, and wine under the stars at the American Museum of Natural History. Tenor saxophonist Houston Person and his quartet are the next performers in the series. BROOKLYN BLUEGRASS
