ARTS & CRAFTS Modern jazz drummer Matt Wilson and his quartet, Arts and Crafts, perform at Carnegie Hall. EVENING CLASSICS World-renowned composer and pianist Bright Sheng returns to Flushing for an evening of classical music in “Bright Sheng & Friends.” The concert, presented by the Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts, also features violinist Ida Kavafian, clarinetist Jon Manasse, and soprano Ilana Davidson.They perform compositions by Ms. Sheng, Franz Schubert, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
