PUBLISHING CRIME, SOLVED The bookstore Partners & Crime hosts a party to launch its new imprint, Felony & Mayhem Press, which is dedicated to reissuing out of print mystery fiction. The first authors to be published are Reginald Hill, Caroline Graham, and Lynn Hightower. Tonight, 7 p.m., 44 Greenwich Ave., between Sixth and Seventh avenues, 212-243-0440, free.
DETECTIVES IN OZ Hiding in the museum’s Magic Tent, youngsters listen to a mystery story set in Australia, then embark on a treasure hunt to solve the case. Friday, 3 and 4 p.m., Children’s Museum of Manhattan, 212 W. 83rd St., between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway, 212-721-1223, $8 general, $5 seniors.
