METAL ON METAL Marilyn Minter layers and models enamel on metal to create her photograph-esque paintings of women in heavy make-up and tall shoes. Most of the paintings currently on display in a self-titled exhibit at Salon 94 were painted within the past year. Selections include “Lilyputti” (2006), above left, and “Splish Splash” (2005).
