VIETNAM NOW Photographer Philip Jones Griffiths, the first Westerner to travel by road to Ho Chi Minh City from Hanoi, signs copies of his book “Vietnam at Peace” (Trolley Press). The book compiles Mr. Griffiths’s black-and-white photographs of the country taken since the war ended. Friday, 7 p.m., Barnes & Noble Chelsea, 675 Sixth Ave. at 21st Street, 212-727-1227, free.
