HARMONIOUS LANDSCAPES “Reclamation,” an exhibit of photographs by Japanese artist Toshio Shibata, features 10 recent large-scale landscape works all made in color and taken in Japan. The works depict how man-made structures interact with nature. PORTRAITS OF ISRAEL Stanley Batkin’s photographs of Israelis are on display in “Faces of Israel.” He has captured more than 20,000 Israelis on camera over the course of his career, including immigrants from Ethiopia and Russia, prime ministers, professors, shopkeepers, and journalists. His work is also currently on display at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
