IN PRAISE OF NERUDA The Poetry Society of America celebrates the publication of Pablo Neruda’s “Spain in Our Hearts”with readings by Monica de la Torre, Martin Espada, Francisco Goldman, and Jaime Manrique. A screening of Leo Hurwitz’s film “Heart of Spain” follows the readings. Wednesday, 7:30 p.m., Bowery Poetry Club, 308 Bowery at Bleecker Street, 212-614-0505, $10 general, $7 members and students.
